I'm spending the weekend at iPhoneDevCamp as one of the organizers and the MC and Judge for this year's Hackathon Contest. My goal is to repeat the success of last year's Hackathon where over 48 applications were presented during the Hackathon Show. Many of these apps were created by teams that had never met before the conference started.
One particular thing that I'm proud of this year is there are six cities that are having satellite events simultaneously with our event in San Francisco — Denver, Portland, Chicago, Austin, Seattle and Chandigarh, India! You can see video feeds from four of the satellites visible behind us while speaking at the podium, including India at the upper-left.
We hope to have all six satellites running tomorrow morning, take questions from them during the keynote sessions, and submit apps for the Hackathon on Sunday. They will also be offering sessions and topics back to us in San Francisco. If you are interested in seeing iPhoneDevCamp live, all three days will be broadcast through Adobe Connect.
